UGC Launched Exclusive Job Portal for JRF, PHD Candidates

A new initiative by UGC to make the PHD and other related jobs lucrative and demanding. UGC has launched a dedicated academic job portal exclusively for those candidates who are focused towards research.

This new job portal is hosted by UGC. This portal will enable candidates to register and create their profile online to felicitate employers to search and browse academic profiles.

CSIR National Eligibility Test – December, 2012 for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship. University Grant Commission (UGC) notification for National eligibility test (NET) exam for December,30,2012 is published. Candidates may apply online with challan from below mentioned link.

Important Dates

Application Submission End Date : Friday; November 16, 2012

Last date for receiving the documents at the Coordinating University : Thursday; November 22, 2012

Examination Date : Sunday; Dec. 30, 2012

CHECK LIST FOR FILLING THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM :

The candidates are advised to ensure the following points before filling the Online Application Forms:


i)	Whether they fulfil the eligibility conditions for the Test as prescribed under the heading ‘CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY’ and ‘AGE LIMIT’.

ii)	That they have filled their CATEGORY, viz., GEN/SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), in the relevant column correctly.

iii)	That they have filled their subject and NET Coordinating University/College and code in the relevant column correctly.

iv)	That the Persons with Disability (PWD) candidates have filled the relevant column in the Online Application Form. Only PWD candidates have to fill this column and the others have to leave it blank.

v)	Whether they have signed the printout of Online Application Form, Admission Card and Attendance Slip.

vi)	Whether they have enclosed the required documents with the Application Form before submission at the NET Coordinating University/College.

vii)	Whether they have kept a copy of the submitted documents for their own record.
